Accessibility at Experi

We believe everyone deserves equal access to professional invoicing tools. We're actively working towards WCAG 2.2 compliance to make Experi accessible to all users.

Our Commitment

Experi is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to guarantee we provide equal access to all users.

Our Accessibility Goals

We're working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user-friendly for everyone.

WCAG 2.2 Level AA

Our target conformance level, covering all success criteria for perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust content.

Continuous Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly audit and improve our platform based on user feedback and best practices.

What We've Implemented

We've already made significant progress in making Experi accessible. Here are some of the accessibility features currently available:

Current Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation

Full keyboard access to all interactive elements. Skip links allow users to bypass navigation and jump directly to main content.

Screen Reader Support

Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and live regions to ensure screen readers can properly interpret and announce content.

Focus Management

Clear focus indicators on all interactive elements. Modal dialogs trap focus appropriately and return focus when closed.

Form Accessibility

All form fields have associated labels, error messages are announced to screen readers, and required fields are properly indicated.

Dark Mode

A high-contrast dark theme option for users who prefer or require reduced brightness and increased contrast.

Reduced Motion Support

Respects user preferences for reduced motion, minimizing animations for users who are sensitive to motion.

Semantic Structure

Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic HTML elements for easy navigation with assistive technologies.

What We're Working On

Accessibility is a journey, not a destination. We're continuously working to improve and expand our accessibility features:

Color Contrast Audit

Ongoing review to ensure all text meets WCAG 2.2 contrast requirements (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).

Touch Target Sizes

Ensuring all interactive elements meet the new WCAG 2.2 minimum target size requirements (24x24 CSS pixels).

PDF Accessibility

Working to ensure generated invoice PDFs are accessible to screen readers with proper tagging and structure.

User Testing

Conducting testing with users who rely on assistive technologies to identify and fix real-world accessibility barriers.

Experi is designed to work with a wide range of browsers and assistive technologies:
