An invoice workflow for cleaners

An end-of-tenancy clean includes a main clean and an agreed specialist extra. For regular commercial work, the same invoice structure can identify a billing period and the visits included.

   Choose a clear billing basis

   Use the cleaner template for a fixed clean or change the quantity and unit to reflect hours. If two people worked three hours, make it clear whether the charge covers six team hours or one fixed job.

   Reuse your cleaning menu

   Store standard cleans and specialist extras as Inventory services. Save a client-independent template for regular jobs, keeping property details on each individual invoice.

   Review each billing period

   Check the visits actually completed before issuing. Recurring invoicing can suit an agreed fixed schedule, but it does not track staff attendance or cleaning completion.

Before you invoice: Do not count an extra twice when it is already included in a deep-clean package. Put only necessary property information on the customer-facing invoice.
